Most of my "free" time is devoted to the sport of mountain biking.  Here in Florida, it's a little difficult to define it as "mountain" biking because... *gasp*... we don't have mountains!  But there are a few places that offer a pretty darn good simulation.  My favorite place was Hardrock Park in Ocala but it's since been turned into a motorcycle park.  It's an old rock quarry. Since Hardrock closed to bikes, another quarry opened up just north of there in Reddick. It's called Razorback. Now that's my destination of choice for biking.

I used to do quite a bit of trail advocacy but I got burnt out on it. I'm still active with the North Florida Bicycle Club (NFBC) although I don't hold a position on the board anymore.
