My Feline Children

These pages are devoted to my only children -- my cats.  I currently have four *gasp* and I never intended to have that many but, you know, accidents happen!  Geez, I'm turning into the old spinster lady with a zillion cats! So here they are:

This is my number 1 girl, Puss-n-Boots.  She adopted me when she was about a year or so old in November of 1992.  She's an outdoor kitty for the most part but she likes to spend time with me in the house.  She's a very good girl and is not a trouble-maker.

This is number 2, Squeak.  She came to me in mid-June 1998 via some stupid #@$%! redneck in Ocala, Florida.  She was thrown out of a car window as the idiot was driving down the road.  A friend of mine saw her and ran out and picked her up.  Her chin was scraped up where she hit the pavement but was otherwise ok (except for being scared).  She was about 10 weeks old at the time.  Now she gets into trouble by stealing anything that isn't put away, like rubber bands, film canisters, screws, pens, pencils, etc. Shes' a thief!

Koh-i-noor I got from the St. Johns County Humane Society as a playmate for Squeak. I got her mainly because Squeak would pester Puss-n-Boots so bad that Puss wouldn't even come into the house to eat! So now Koh-i-noor and Squeak play all the time and keep each other company. They are both strictly indoor kitties. Koh-i-noor likes to get on the countertops (which I HATE!) and she likes to pick at the curtains (I hate that too!)

This is my new little man in my life - Simon. He is a special needs kitty. He's about 2 years old and had a virus that damaged his eyes. It looks like he has cataracts. But I think he sees just fine. I tried peeking very slowly around a corner one day to see what he was doing and he saw me right away. This was his first day home and the first thing he did was discover Birdie. The next series of pics are of his curiousity working overtime. Also notice Squeak and Koh-i-noor checking him out.

Check out these pics of Simon and Koh-i-noor. Now you have to realize what a neurotic freak Koh-i-noor is... she hisses and growls at everything (even while playing), she eats Kleenex and silk flowers. She's weird!! Simon is just the opposite... he's very calm and quiet. So Simon was laying on the couch beside me, Koh-i-noor comes up, hisses at Simon, he ignores her, Koh nudges on me, then lays down right beside Simon. I had to get pics of that!!
Ok, here's one of Squeak. She was just too cute.

This is all I have for now. My other kitty pages don't have the pics on them because I've got to rescan and upload better pics. So hang tight... I hope to get them done soon! (Probably over Christmas break.)
